You are loved

““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭

 

You are part of the world that Jesus loves and came to save. *But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

 

He asks us to simply come. We don’t have to clean up and then come to Jesus. Jesus made it clear- **that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

 

You can be a “whoever”. This Easter, would you seek the One who saves you in your sin. That’s the good news- bringing life from death! Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you. 

 

“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
