Our Staff

Senior Pastor
Erick Barrett
Erick was called as the senior pastor in January 2025 and has been blessed to serve in the Gospel ministry since 2011. Erick is also a retired Army Chaplain. Erick's passion in ministry is helping people see that it is possible to live a surrendered life to Christ that doesn't look like what the world tells you it should look like. As we trust and obey and lean on Christ, our faith grows and our heart is gradually conformed to the image of Christ. He must increase and we must decrease.
Erick has been married to his wife Lisa since 1998 and they have 3 adult children. Cassie lives in Kentucky, Allie lives in Virginia and Andrew lives in Cookeville. Erick is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, has a Tennessee wife and 3 Tennessee kids, so even though he might root for some teams in the Boston area, he is Tennessee through and through. Erick enjoys outdoor activities, technology, Bible translations and long walks on the beach (seriously!).
Favorite verse: 1 Thess 5:16-18

Associate Pastor
Jackson White
Jackson joined the staff in 2018. He has been married to Paige since 2018, and they have two daughters: Farris (2020) and Rylee (2022). Jackson's passion in ministry is showing people who Jesus is and the life found in getting to know the person of Jesus Christ by submitting ourselves fully and daily to Jesus.
Jackson loves to read the Word (via the Bible Recap), listen to podcasts, workout, and anything Tennessee Vols and Dallas Cowboys related. Oh, and, he is an avid WWE fan, too.

Worship Leader
Gavin Jones
Gavin joined our team as Interim Worship Director with FBC Livingston in September of 2024. In February of the following year, he began working with our staff in a more permanent role. He was called to the ministry at an early age and started leading worship during his middle school years.

Outside of the church walls, Gavin is a father, singer and entrepreneur. He is passionate about bringing people together and sharing a vision!

His son, Nash, was born in 2019. When not working with his businesses or at the church, you can catch both of them at the movies, at Dogwood park or playing Spider-Man verses Hulk (Nash is always Spider-Man and always wins).

His favorite scripture is Habakkuk 1:5.

Administrative Assistant
Brenda Chase
Brenda has worked for FBC since August 2024 as administrative assistant.
Her husband, Bill, is a semi-retired worship pastor, and they have two grown children and eight grandchildren.

She accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 15 years old, and her favorite Bible verses are those that tell the way of Salvation. She also loves Psalm 23, which has given her comfort throughout the years.

Custodian
Ken Hubble
Ken is a Christian who has been blessed to be able to retire from law enforcement after 33 years of service.
He is married and has five grandchildren. He lives in Monterey, TN, and attends Columbia Hill Baptist Church.

At the end of 2022, the Lord opened the door for him to work at Livingston First Baptist, a job he thoroughly enjoys. He has met many wonderful people here. It is his desire to continue to serve here until the Lord directs him otherwise.

His favorite passage in the Bible is Proverbs 3:5,6.
Fun Fact: Ken is possibly the only person to have ever served in law enforcement while simultaneously owning a donut shop.

Children's Director
Carley Keisling
Carley joined staff in March of 2022 as Children's Director. She grew up at First Baptist and now has the opportunity to serve as Kid's Director. She loves getting to teach and hangout with the kiddos at FBC! Her desire is to support families and teach children about their Creator.

She has always loved being around kids from babysitting to serving 6 summers at Cedar Lake Camp in Livingston, TN! It was at Cedar Lake her love for serving the next generation became evident.

Carley met her husband, Scott, at FBC as middle schoolers. They began dating in college while serving at Cedar Lake and married in December of 2020. They have two sons, Ro (2023) and one on the way coming August 2025! Their family enjoys spending time outdoors and coffee! Their family passage is James 1:2,3.
